Curriculum

A wide range of subjects is covered including:

  • Introduction to Health and Safety
  • Legislative History
  • The Constitution
  • Understanding the Act and Regulations
  • Department of Labour legislation
  • Important Sections of the Act
  • The SHE Rep introduction and functions
  • SHE Rep appointment and documentation
  • Monthly inspections and documentation
  • Incident and Accident Investigations
  • Department of Labour documentation
  • Health and Safety Committee Meetings

 

2-day Course
Materials

Materials will include:

Registration
Attendance
Learner Guide
Presentations/Video Content
Assessment

Everything will be completed during your contact session with us.
This will include all theory and practical assessments.

Certification:

Upon successful completion of this course you will be awarded with a certificate of competency that is registered & accredited by SETA (Sector Education Training Authority).

If and should you not be found competent within two attempts of completing the assessment, you will still receive a certificate of attendance.

Learners exceeding 80% for their assessments will be certified as competent.

Certificates do not expire; however, it is recommended to renew your certificate after two (2) years.

 

Health & Safety Representative: Online Session

Curriculum

Our Online Basic Fire Fighting course can be completed in either of the following two methods:

  1. Attend the live online training sessions that is conducted in
    one (1) day

OR

  1. Receive access to all learning content via our e-learning
    platform.

Certification:
